In other posts we gave you some tips and musts things to use when
travelling with children, you can have a look
here or
here. I told you as well I will reveal my
favorite games to entertain our children (even for a while!) when we travel. These games are meant to be really easy to handle and carry for children from 3 till 8.
Obviously, there are a lot of games designed to play when travelling, but these are my 5 favorite games when travelling with children:
1.
Dobble Card Game: It’s a game to develop speed and concentration capacity (even for adults). There are also different ways of playing, but it’s based on
matching the different images of the cards and the quickest one wins. You can buy this game
here.
2.
Bracelet Making Kit: The one that my daughter likes the most is the
rubber bracelet making. It allows your kids to manipulate small items and helps them to create something. They also like to make them as a gift for somebody so it makes them feel fulfilled and useful. You can buy them
here. There are also a kind of bracelet making which contains letters, this is very good when they are learning letters and starting reading as they can create words or names.
3. IQ Fit or IQ Link: This is meant for children + 6 years old. The game is great to let your children think and analyze the different options of the pieces and find the correct one. It’s a game to make your children sit and think. The game comes with a book and different levels of difficulty depending on the age of the child. You can buy the game here.
4.
Story cubes: This game contains 9 dices with different pictures in each side. Consists on throwing the dices and with the images that come through they have to
create a story. This allows your children to use imagination and learn to express themselves. It’s a non-competitive game, very
original and fun. It’s meant for children 6 years old and above. You can buy the game
here.

I keep all pieces in this bag, it doesn't come with the game |
5.
Magmagic: When we take out this game, all children love it instantly. It’s meant for children +3 years old and it’s a
block building game. Its particularity is that it is magnetic and it’s very helpful when travelling to not miss any piece. By playing with
Magmagic children can learn
geometric forms, colors and can create objects even in 3D. This game is good to develop skills such as
problem solving, imitation, cause and effect, basic Maths, creativity... I find this game really complete. You can buy this game
here.
These are the games my daughter most play with when travelling. This is not a collaborate post and we’re not paid for proposing these games, which I think it is important because we’re not influenced by anything or anybody, just expressing our personal opinion and experience.
Any other game you want to share with us? More than welcome!
